See Around the Truck While You Work
Side, rear, and bed-mounted cameras can provide additional visibility while backing, positioning the truck, loading a vehicle, changing lanes, or working in tight roadside areas. An optional in-cab LCD monitor displays selected live camera views, giving drivers additional views around the truck when mirrors alone may not show the full working area.
Document the Job From Pickup Through Drop-Off
Multi-camera recording documents vehicle condition at pickup, loading and unloading, roadside activity, transport, and drop-off. If a damage claim, customer question, or incident comes up later, operators have recorded footage from different areas of the truck to help establish what happened and when.
Continuous recording also helps capture ordinary activity that may not trigger a traditional dashcam event but becomes important after the job is complete.
Verify the Work and Protect Revenue
VMDR systems accept external inputs from supported vehicle and equipment circuits such as PTO, warning lights, rollback controls, wheel-lifts, or tow-arm activity. When configured equipment is activated, the system can create a time-stamped event and, uploads video clips, images and location to VentraCloud.
These records can help operators compare actual equipment activity with dispatch records, work orders, completed jobs, and billing. That provides another way to verify when work occurred and identify activity that may not have been captured correctly through normal reporting.

GPS visibility can help dispatchers see where trucks are in the field and identify which vehicle may be closest to the next call. This can reduce unnecessary backtracking and help assign work based on location and current activity.
Confirm Vehicle Status With Video
Location alone does not always show whether a truck is actually available. On compatible VentraCloud systems, authorized users can review live or recent video to help determine whether a truck is already loading, transporting a vehicle, or completing a job before assigning the next call.
Connect Dispatch, Activity and Completion
GPS history, video and equipment-triggered events can provide additional context when reviewing daily operations. Managers can compare field activity with dispatch records and completed jobs to better understand truck utilization and identify gaps in reporting.
