VDR-220 Compact Two-Camera Fleet Video System
The VDR-220 is a compact, concealed vehicle video recorder with two rugged 720p weatherproof cameras for interior or exterior installation. The recorder mounts out of sight to help protect the system from tampering and theft.
View live or recorded video locally through the VentraConfig smartphone app, review footage using PC playback software, or add optional VentraCloud service for remote viewing, GPS tracking and event uploads.

Multiple Viewing Options
The VDR-220 gives fleets three practical ways to access recorded video:
Local Smartphone Viewing
Connect directly to the VDR-220 through Wi-Fi within approximately 15 feet to view cameras, review recordings and download clips using the VentraConfig app.
PC Playback
Remove the SD card and review or export recorded video using the included PC playback software.
Optional Remote Access
Add VentraCloud service and an in-vehicle internet connection for remote live viewing, vehicle location, event uploads and fleet monitoring.
Smartphone app view
Use the VentraConfig app on a nearby smartphone to connect directly to the VDR-220 through the recorder’s local Wi-Fi network within approximately 15 feet. This is a short-range local connection, not remote internet or cloud access.
From the app, users can:
- View live camera video
- Review recordings stored on the SD card
- Download selected video clips and images
- Enable or disable audio recording
- Adjust supported recorder settings
To connect, open the smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings, select the VDR-220 WiFi SSID (VG8xxxxx), then return to the VentraConfig app.

Add optional VentraCloud service and a compatible in-vehicle internet connection to access the VDR-220 remotely.
